From A Massage Gun To A Wider World.
Theragun launched commercially in 2016. By 2020, the company had become Therabody, reflecting an ambition beyond a single percussion device. Its acquisition of RP Sports and RecoveryPump technology that year added another route into physical recovery. [1]
That expansion changes the manufacturing problem. A handheld massage device, an LED face mask, compression boots and heated eye goggles involve different materials, mechanisms and electronics. Growing a product family means finding the right engineering and production capabilities for each category.
Therabody’s story shows how specialist suppliers in China—and a wider Asian production network—can support that transition. The evidence is strongest when a named product, a legal manufacturing entity and a commercial record can be read together.
A Relationship With Real Scale.
OGAWA’s 2024 annual report names THERABODY INTERNATIONAL LIMITED as its second-largest customer. Sales to that entity totalled RMB 222.57 million, or 4.61% of OGAWA’s annual sales. This is a significant customer relationship on the supplier’s side. [2]

At product level, the FDA record for TheraFace Mask, K230293 names Therabody as applicant, with a June 9, 2023 decision. The corresponding device listing identifies Zhangzhou Easepal Innovation Co., Ltd. as a manufacturer. Together, the two records connect a specific branded device with a specific manufacturing entity. Easepal names also appear across the wider OGAWA-related manufacturing ecosystem. Each legal entity still matters: Innovation and Industrial should not be treated as interchangeable names, and a group-level customer figure does not allocate revenue to one factory or model.
Match The Technology To The Maker.
TheraFace Mask
The FDA listing provides the clearest product-specific manufacturing link to Zhangzhou Easepal Innovation. Separately, Ace-Tec’s July 2025 shipment records describe red/blue LED beauty masks for Therabody. Those records do not identify the exact retail generation. [4] [9]
JetBoots & Smart Goggles
Easepal shipment records name JetBoots Prime and Smart Goggles. Healthcare Technology International records name JetBoots Pro Plus. The version is part of the story: a supplier for one boot model should not be assumed to manufacture every model. [5] [6]
Handheld Recovery Devices
An August 27, 2026 shipment record connects a specific product to the network: Theragun Relief Navy, supplied by Hong Kong Huiyue Technology to Therabody Sales Canada, with Yantian, China, recorded as the port of origin. This identifies a supply and export partner for the pictured product. The record does not name the underlying mainland factory. [7]
Beauty-Device Expertise
Ace-Tec describes an in-house system covering tooling, injection molding and final assembly. Our reading is that such specialist capability fits the engineering demands of a brand moving into facial-care hardware. The division of work within individual contracts—circuit design, tooling ownership or who funds development—is not fully public. The visible picture is a multi-supplier network serving different products, rather than one factory behind the whole brand.
Expand The Range. Extend The Network.
Our reading: experienced health-device manufacturers can give a brand access to engineering and repeatable production across several categories. The brand can develop its customer proposition while selecting manufacturing capabilities appropriate to each new device.
The geography can expand too. A September 2026 shipping record identifies a Theragun Miniplus shipment from Ogawa Wellness Vietnam, with Vietnam recorded as origin. A Chinese manufacturing group’s network and the country where a particular product is made are different things. [10]
Asia’s advantage is a network of specialist capabilities that can grow with a brand’s product range.
